A difficult day to evaluate

Celtics VS Knicks G2

Celtics led by 20 points in two consecutive games, which made people stunned. G1 can be said that the Celtics fought casually and were too careless in the lead. G2 is a game that the Celtics must win to some extent, and it would be impolite to be careless.

But the Celtics' game is still difficult to evaluate, so let's evaluate the Knicks first.

The four words - unity. Almost everyone contributed to the victory:

Downs, this year's playoff game with the ball, did not score a three-pointer but had two points tough, and scored 2+1 in a row at low post. The pick-and-roll defense is still obvious, but he harvested 17 rebounds in the whole game;

Hart, as the point of being matched by the Celtics center, responded to three-pointers today, and faced Horford's carry-on hook-and-drop shots, the fast break is still strong, and the game energy is full;

Bridges was taken one-on-one by the Celtics many times, and the battle is a problem in the playoffs, but he once again contributed key steals;

OG-Anunobi, G1 scored very strongly, G2 contributed to defense, and bridge steals cannot be separated from him protecting the basket first. In this game, once OG switched defense to the basket against Horford or other Celtics dunk players, he could basically assist in defense, causing great trouble to the Celtics;

Bronson, the efficiency of the whole game is not high, and the ability to score key points is still the best in the game, and the one-on-one technology should be unique in the series;

Mitchell Robinson, the winner changed defense, the highest positive and negative value, the Thibodeau lineup was good in the double tower lineup, Miro is far more flexible than the average center at this height, can keep up with the Celtics, and the ground fights actively;

McBride, he only scored 5 points, but he sounded the Knicks' counterattack horn, and the big reversal started from his 5 points;

Payne, he helped the main players win a 4-minute and 52-second break.

G1G2, the Knicks' resilience, vitality and key ball ability are admirable. They did what they could do and waited for the bad Celtics again.

Celtics are difficult to evaluate.

The Celtics actually used a more scientific way they were used to, which greatly restricted the Knicks. No. 4/5 dislocation defense, fill the paint area, put a specific player's three-pointer, and strictly control free throws, rebounds and breakthroughs. The Knicks only scored 91 points, and there was not much to say on this end. The more controversial part is obviously on the offense. The G1 Celtics scored 60 three-pointers, which caused heated public discussion. The G2 Celtics have changed a little bit. I can't say whether this change is active or passive. So far in the playoffs, Horford has a three-point shooting percentage of 27.3%, and Porzingis has a three-point shooting percentage of 16.7%. This is really not enough, so it is reasonable to rub more at the basket. The Celtics also tried to hit some pick-and-roll feeding cakes. Some of them gave them ok, but some were ridiculously fed.

Double-Tanhua ball-driven rounds, strategy and choice are not a big problem, but it is difficult for you to evaluate crappy turns, awkward high throws and stiff emergency stops. Watching the video, I thought of a melody in my mind for some reason:

"So those may not be true..."

is almost that.

Since the playoffs, no player except Prichard has made a qualified three-pointer. For the three-point team, not being sure is the original sin. If the G3 Celtics are accurate and keep on being accurate, their waves will remain the same, and all the criticisms of them will be counterattacked in the past few days. They are behind only because of mathematics. Sometimes it has to be said that the Celtics’ so many three-pointers are styled, but isn’t it a way to teach students according to their aptitude?

If things are complicated, they may not be better.

Everything is the best arrangement. Twin flowers must be cherished.

Thunder VS Nuggets G2

G2 seems to be further explaining why I emphasized the three-point response in this round so much in the forward look. The defensive strategies of both sides are very clear:

The Thunder did not attack much, but five people stepped on the paint area to defend. The inner circle is very small, and with excellent maneuverability, sweeping around, in addition to interfering with shooting, the Nuggets can also cut off the Nuggets' ball and the ball out during the process. The Nuggets are under pressure to go inward, and it is inevitable that the ball will be divided into two bottom corners. They made 13 three-pointers in the bottom corner;

On the other hand, the Nuggets' Thunder three-pointers are basically purely released, and there is no question of rotation. The Nuggets recognized the Thunder's ability to make a comeback.

G2's Nuggets are indeed average in strength. The physical fitness and 1-0 lead have caused the subjective disregard for G2. It is acceptable to lose 1 point or lose 58 points. It is acceptable to take 1-1 back to the home court. Objectively, the mobility of the Thunder lineup is there, and it is definitely not easy for the Nuggets to fully cover the larger tonnage. There are many open spaces on both sides of the three-pointers, but the difference between shooting near the basket is much bigger - the Nuggets rushed into the Thunder paint area and were all people. On the other hand, the throwing environment that Harten and others have won should not be too comfortable. As for the counterattack opportunity given to the Thunder by the Nuggets mistake, it turned into a snowball. The Thunder scored 34 points in this game based on the Nuggets' mistake.

The Thunder and the Nuggets both hit more than 40% of their three-point shooting percentages, and their number of shots is also close. But the process of getting three-point gaps on both sides is different. Lightning can be easily turned into opportunities, while the Nuggets have to attract assisted defense and pass the ball. There are too many mistakes in trying to attract assisted defense and pass the ball.

So, the quality of the defense determines the game. The Thunder played their defensive style, and the Nuggets knew it was hard for them to win in G2.

There are tension and relaxation, small wins and big losses, which may be the most likely opportunity for the Nuggets in this round of series. Thunder requires one-piece effort and pursue victory. The score difference in G2 shows the Thunder's dominance, but you can't be careless either. They have to remember that the Clippers also beat the Nuggets.
