Beverly: James will not retire immediately after the new season. Whether to stay in the Lakers depends on Doncic

Former Lakers player Beverly talked about his opinion on topics related to James' retirement in the latest episode of his podcast.

The Lakers will play against the Warriors at home in the opening game of the new season. The basketball world is full of expectations and it is possible to witness the final season of James and Curry in this game.

Beverly said when asked if he thought any of the two superstars would retire after the end of the season: "No, I won't say that. I won't belittle LeBron, I won't belittle him. But, you know, everything is hard to say."

"I don't know that Doncic looks good when he loses his weight. If Doncic can integrate into the team, play the performance he should have, win many games, and James can be himself, do you know what I mean?"

"You know, James doesn't care whether he is the first choice or any other role, he just will be himself. He will give 25 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists Attacking data. James is James, right? His shooting percentage may rise a little or fall a little, but most of the time, James can play like this. It seems crazy to me that he can still get 25+6+6 at the age of 40."
