Cole: Rotation of starting centers may become the norm. Post is growing into an excellent player.

In the NBA regular season, the Warriors defeated the Clippers 98-79. The reporter went to the scene today, followed the game and attended the press conference after the game. The following is part of the interview with Warriors coach Cole compiled by Xiaoba.

Question: Post was very active on the court tonight. His playing time was not too much, but he had a plus-minus of +34. What do you think of his performance? Did you trust him and use him a little more than you originally planned because of the way he looked tonight?

Cole: Yeah, I think this may become a norm for our team. I'd really like to have Horford come off the bench -- if he plays 20 minutes, or 20 to 25 minutes -- I'd rather have him come off the bench and have him close things out for us when needed, like they did tonight. We may go back and forth between Post and other centers and make some changes depending on the lineup.

I think Bodemski played great. In fact, I didn't give him enough playing time in the first half. I think he only played about nine minutes at that point, and he wasn't able to play a role as a playmaker. So I had to do better in the second half and find some lineups that were better organized and created chances like we did.

But QP Post was the protagonist of tonight's game. He was fearless on the court, scored key goals, and defended very well. I'm happy for him and the team. After all, we drafted him in the second round just a year and a half ago, and now he's turning into a really good player.
