On June 4, Lakers star LeBron James reposted a video of slapping ESPN's famous reporter Wen Horst on social media, and wrote: "(We are still a long way to go before success)! I really hate that they have to listen to two guys who know nothing about basketball talking about basketball! Sorry @Steve Nash." The video forwarded by

James was officially released by his podcast program Mind the Game. The video excerpts some of the predictive comments from Vinhorst's previous podcast on James. Venhorst pointed out at the time that fans like "dramatic topics" rather than basketball tactical analysis.

"They said they wanted to talk about tactics," said Venhorst. "But I tell you that if the whole show is full of tactical analysis, it will not work well. I mean, there may be basketball coaches who want to hear it, but if James and Nash sit down and talk about tactics for a whole hour, the audience will not buy it." The video brought a lot of positive feedback from fans on the show, and also mentioned the current data of the podcast that has been rising on the list (16 million views+). Obviously, this is a slap in the face of Vinhorst's prediction. The remarks that James forwarded when he was obviously dissatisfied with Vincenster. This is not the first time James has publicly "slapped" this ESPN reporter. Wenhorst and James were in the same high school and reported on James' entire career. They were once called James' "monetary reporter", but their current relationship is no longer as good as before.

In March this year, James complained about Venhorst when he was a guest at The Pat McAfee Show: "This guy said he was my best friend, and these people are so strange."

He revealed to the host that he was dissatisfied with the current reporting methods in the NBA, which was also the original intention of him and Redick to start the podcast last year. This year, two-time MVP winner and Hall of Fame member Nash replaced Redick as the podcast resident guest.

James has the option of a player next season and is expected to continue playing in the NBA, which will be his 23rd season. This season, he was selected for the second team of the NBA All-Squad, becoming the oldest player in history to be selected for the All-Squad. James played 70 regular season games this season, averaging 24.4 points, 7.8 rebounds and 8.2 assists per game, shooting 51.3% from the field, 37.6% from three-point shooting percentage and 78.2% from free throws.
