The Celtics' total salary in 2025-26 will be close to $220 million, while taxes are expected to exceed $260 million, and total salary expenditure next season will approach a historic $500 million, so discussions within the league about their spending cuts are getting stronger," Siegel added.
Connett's salary this season is $2.8 million, Horford's salary this season is $9.5 million, and their contracts expire this summer.
