Warriors Cole talks about Green s 3rd game against the Timberwolves leaving the game: Watch the replay, that s the truth

Steve Cole bluntly stated that Draymond Green's full departure impacted the Warriors' third loss to the Timberwolves

The Golden State Warriors lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 3, but many believe that Draymond Green's sixth foul with four minutes left was the culprit. For Warriors head coach Steve Cole, leaving the game full of money is not the biggest factor in the team's defeat.

Cole admitted that he thought Green's several fouls were not worth it, including the fourth foul - a blocking foul, which he challenged without success. However, the coach noted that the foul had nothing to do with the Timberwolves' outstanding performance in the last moment.

"Six fouls, the game was tough," Cole said. "It doesn't feel good to watch the playback, but that's the case. They played better than us in the fourth quarter and they deserved to win."

Despite Stephen Curry's absence, the Golden State Warriors were still two points ahead at halftime and led by four points as they entered the final stage. However, the Timberwolves defeated the Warriors 33-24 in the fourth quarter and ended up narrowly defeating their opponents 102-97.

Apart from six fouls, Green struggled throughout the game. He only scored 2 points, 2 rebounds and 4 assists in 29 minutes of playing time, and also had 5 turnovers. Green had difficulty controlling Julius Randall, whose 24 points were the key to the Timberwolves' reversal victory.

Minnesota regained the home advantage with the victory by leading 2-1. Since losing the first game, the Timberwolves have won two consecutive victories since Curry was absent. The Warriors are looking forward to a rebound at home against the Timberwolves

Golden State Warriors still expect the fourth game to be missing Curry, and they face a situation where they must win. Historically, the team was doomed to fail once they lost 3-1, and the Warriors had no firepower to make up for such a big gap when the star was injured.

Curry was absent, Jimmy Butler scored 33 points without any suspense, but Jonathan Cumingga, who came on as a substitute, was in a hot state in the third game, scoring 30 points. Cole praised Kuminga after the game and suggested he might bring him to the starting lineup in Game 4.

So far, Cole has sent out different starting lines in all three games in the Western Conference semi-finals. Curry's injury forced him to make adjustments, but the Warriors are still trying to find answers to the center position, but to no avail. After Quantum Post started in Game 2, Cole activated Terres Jackson-Davis in Game 3, but he played for only 11 minutes. The fourth game between the Warriors and the Timberwolves will be played at 10 p.m. ET on Monday at Chase Center.
