May 10th News Recently, Disney+ released the documentary "The Story of Aguero", which allows viewers and fans to gain an in-depth understanding of the player's career through telling different people.

Aguero recalled in the documentary: "In the summer of 2011, Atletico Madrid CEO Miguel Angel Gill Marin came to my house and said to me, 'You won't go to Real Madrid'. I joked that if Real Madrid really wanted to sign me, we had to find a way to solve this problem, but he firmly disagreed and he didn't want me to leave."

At that time, all the big clubs were eyeing him, especially Real Madrid also wanted to recruit Aguero, but Gill Marin could not accept the team's best player to turn to the arch-enemy: "I received a call from Real Madrid, and they said I wanted to negotiate a friendly signing of the player. I first contacted Manchester City Chairman Mubarak, who was close to me, and told him that I think Aguero is the best center in Europe and I can't let him join Real Madrid."

In order to stop Aguero from putting on the Real Madrid jersey, Jill Marin even flew to Los Angeles to meet Mubarak: "I booked a flight ticket from Madrid to Los Angeles, and the three of us had dinner at an Italian restaurant. We wrote a letter of commitment on paper and signed it."

And so, in July 2011, Manchester City officially announced the signing of Aguero. Although Florentino personally called Aguero to join Real Madrid a few months ago: "I was in the Copa America, and Valdano called me and said he wanted to let me talk to Florentino. He said he would do his best to bring me to the Bernabeu. But I told him that I didn't know what to do, and the clubs should communicate first, and everyone already knew the rest of the story."
