May 23rd Ashley Young is a visiting talkSPORT radio today, and he said he also plans to continue playing football at the highest level.

Ashley Young is about to turn 40 in July. He is still playing in Everton, but his contract expires this summer and the club has no intention of renewing the contract.

Speaking of my future, Professor Yang said: "I have played quite a lot this season, which has made me think about the next step. I feel in great shape and have never been so energetic in years. I just want to continue playing football. In any form or method, I am not ready to hang my boots."

"I will definitely continue playing next season, no matter what the route. Although I will turn 40 in July, my age is just a number. My physical condition is as good as I was in my twenties. Statistics do not lie. I played 31 times this season, so I am sure I can still maintain a high level."

When asked if I plan to stay in the top league, Ashley Young replied: "Yes, I do want to continue playing in the Premier League, but I also know that the age factor will be considered. As you said, 39-year-olds can play 31 times in the Premier League, and if you are not strong enough, I can't do it. I am proud of this record of appearance."

"I hope I can play another game on Sunday. Then, enjoy the summer vacation. Let the flow afterwards."

When talking about whether to consider coaching after retirement, Ashley Young made it clear: "No, I don't think about this direction at all. I haven't even passed the coaching certificate, although there are always people who keep urging me to study. For me, extending my career as much as possible is the primary goal. In addition, I think changing careers in the TV media industry is more suitable for me."
