Atletico Madrid signed Laspadori of Naples and became the successor of Grimzmann

La Liga powerhouse Atletico Madrid has now found a bargain and will sign Naples striker Giacomo Raspadori for 22 million euros transfer fee, as the successor to 34-year-old veteran Glinzmann.

Atletico Madrid originally planned to acquire Stuttgart's 23-year-old star Milot, but the transfer transaction failed, so he transferred the target to poach Laspadori. Since he is not the main player of Naples, the Serie A champion also quickly agreed to release the person, with a fixed transfer fee of 22 million euros and an additional 4 million euros of floating performance transfer fee. The 25-year-old Italian international did not participate in Naples' recent training and will go to Spain for a physical examination.

Laspadori transferred from Sassuolo to Napoli three years ago, scoring 18 goals in 109 games in total, helping Napoli win two Serie A championships. Although the 1.72-meter-tall "Bag Tiger" scored not many goals, his victory lies in his comprehensive skills and his ability to be a forward, winger, and offensive midfielder. His playing style is quite similar to Glinzmann. No wonder Atletico Madrid head coach Simeone believes that he is a suitable replacement for Glinzmann.
