Brandon Williams Statement: I learned from the accident and look forward to restarting my career

May 27 Former Manchester United left-back Brandon Williams was sentenced to 14 months in prison, suspended for two years and revoked for three years for dangerous driving.

Brandon Williams issued a statement: "I want to thank my legal team for proving that I was not affected by any drug at the time of the accident.

I have always admitted that my driving level was below my expected standards that day, I never intended to cause anyone to be injured, but I was responsible for my driving level. I don't make any excuses, I learned from this experience and will make sure that I won't repeat the same mistakes.

I want to apologize again to those involved in the accident, and now the case is over, I look forward to joining a new team later this year and restarting my career."

Brandon Williams has played 51 games for the Manchester United first team, scoring one goal and two assists, and he left Manchester United last summer and has not found a new team.
