August 23: Anatolia Efes, the club where Poirier belongs, confirmed that Poirier suffered a long-term injury and will undergo surgery next Tuesday local time in France.
Pirier is expected to be out for at least 4 months, and the recovery schedule will be updated after surgery.
Due to this injury, Poirier will miss the early stage of the European Basketball Champions League, and the new season of this event will begin on September 30.
