Heraffenberg: I feel very distressed when I lack game time at Bayern, and I am very proud to get out of the valley

August 11th, Liverpool midfielder Heraffenberg was interviewed by the media and talked about his time playing for Bayern.

"I was going crazy. Fortunately, my parents moved to Munich for me, and if I were there alone at the time, I didn't know what would have happened... those days were really mentally difficult."

"I'm glad we won the championship, but my contribution was minimal. We stood on the championship podium, but I didn't feel like a champion at all, and it felt completely different from when I won other trophys before."

"While Nagelsmann coaching, I had to watch the team on the sidelines for three consecutive games, and that was when I started to feel a mental breakdown. By winter, I had been completely fed up with it, and under Tuchel's last two months of the season, I got more playing time than I had before."

"I still remember how I felt at Bayern, but I knew I had come out of that low point. This is something I am proud of."
