Locatelli: We have tried our best to play Real Madrid, we are too passive to Manchester City, making them too easy

July 2nd Juventus captain Locatelli was interviewed by Canale5 after the team was eliminated from the Club World Cup by Real Madrid.

Locatelli: "We went all out today, despite facing a very strong opponent, we showed excellent team spirit, they scored goals and we didn't. The only game we did underperformed was against Manchester City."

"We would never be happy if Juventus was eliminated, but today we know that we have done our best. We were too passive against Manchester City and made them play too easily."

"This season is long and tense. We are tired, but we want to go further in this event. Now we need to rest and start again with more energy."
