Manchester City has reached an agreement with Burnley to pay £27 million to re-sign the goalkeeper from his own youth training. The total price of the transaction with Burnley was about £31 million plus additional terms, but the final payment was reduced as Manchester City set a resale share clause in Trafford's contract.
