Sun Exclusive: Giggs leaves Salford City to find another job as a coach

Hupu September 20th, an exclusive report by Sun Sports reporter Phil Cadden, said Giggs has left Salford City and hopes to return to coaching.

The Manchester United legend has served as football director for the English League Two club and assisted head coach Carl Robinson on match day.

But according to the Sun, Giggs no longer participates in Salford's daily work, and Salford will host Svendon at home on Saturday.

Giggs, 51, served as the head coach of the Wales team and led the national team to the 2020 European Cup.

But Giggs resigned after being arrested on suspicion of attack in November 2020 and missed the European Cup finals.

The jury failed to reach a ruling on subsequent allegations of assault and allegations of coercion or control. The retrial was abandoned because the alleged victim, his ex-wife Kate Greville, was reluctant to provide evidence.

The former Manchester United winger, who had won 13 Premier League titles under Sir Ferguson, said in January:

"I served as the head coach of Wales and love the job very much.

In the end, I hope to return to coaching. On the game day, I am still as excited as before, and even more excited than ever."

Giggs and other members of the "92 Class" Nicky Butt, Paul Scholes and Phil Neville were bought by David Beckham and Gary Neville, who, as members of the new consortium, completed the acquisition of Salford in May this year.

Despite winning 13 titles at Old Trafford, Giggs once again failed to make the Premier League Hall of Fame nomination list this month.
