Odegaard challenges gravity

In order to return to the game as soon as possible, Martin Odegaard has been challenging gravity.

The Arsenal captain has suffered from shoulder and knee injuries this season. The knee injury recurred earlier this month and is expected to return after the next international break in a few weeks.

Odegaard is determined to return before then. He said: "Everything is going well and my recovery is getting better.

I have started to do more activities and have been training on an anti-gravity treadmill this week. It is hard, but it feels good to feel the progress - it gives me more motivation."

Arsenal has a number of anti-gravity treadmills at the medical rehabilitation center at their training base in London Colney, which is not something all Premier League clubs can enjoy.

After Odegaard was injured, he did not stop interacting with the team off the court. This week, he visited the Armory, the official Emirates Stadium store, to sign autographs and take photos with fans.

Respectable attendances

Although some games in the EFL Championship had lower attendances, Arsenal U21s' 3-4 away defeat at Exeter on Tuesday still had a respectable attendance rate.

A total of 3,606 spectators attended the game, 739 of whom were Arsenal fans.
