Tebas: How to run the Club World Cup? Stop doing it! This new event should be completely eradicated

June 17th, La Liga Chairman Javier Tebas said when attending the event that he hopes to "eliminate" the Club World Cup.

Tebass had previously criticized this Club World Cup, calling the event "completely absurd." He further stated that the game was like a friendly match after watching Chelsea win over Los Angeles FC 2-0 on Tuesday.

When asked how FIFA can better organize the Club World Cup in the future, Tebas replied at the event: "By canceling this event, my view is that the so-called Club World Cup will no longer be held, and I am very clear about it.

" There is no room on the schedule, and there is no need for another event that will allow money to flow to the same group of players and clubs. This model affects the entire national league ecosystem, especially in Europe.

"We must maintain the existing ecosystem and completely eradicate this event so that the Club World Cup can be held in the same state as it was in one weekend. In this way, there is no suitable match date to hold such a match."
