Butler: The defense is completely different when chasing dreams. 97 points are enough to win the game, which means that it is not defensive.

The Warriors lost to the Timberwolves 97-102 at home, and fell behind 1-2 with a big score. After the game, Butler accepted an interview, and Xiaoba compiled some of his interview content, as follows:

Q: You were still five points ahead at the beginning of the fourth quarter, but the situation took a sharp turn. What do you think happened to the game at the end?

Butler: We may not be able to play the offensive round we wanted, made several mistakes, and did not successfully interfere with the opponent's shooting, and failed to limit their three-pointers. That's all.

Q: When Draymond committed the 4th and 6th fouls, what changes did the game change?

Butler: He is undoubtedly the world's top defensive player and the best defender in our team. When he wasn't there, our defense was completely different. No one on the court can command the entire team like him, switch unlimited defenses, grab cricket and rebounds. Even if he ends up, we have to play better.

Q: How difficult is it to score when facing a team like the Timberwolves with tall, long arms and strong athletic ability?

Butler: Scoring is not a problem. I think you can win by scoring 97 points in the playoffs. The problem is that we are defensive. We must guard against their attacks, not make mistakes, and retreat quickly. We are definitely capable of scoring, but we must also be able to defend against each other in order to win.

Q: What positive gains do you have for the next fourth game?

Butler: Of course there is. We proved that we could compete without Curry. We are still very confident. We will go back to watch the video, adjust our tactics, and come here again next Monday to tie the series to 2-2.

Q: What kind of desire or urgency do you expect to return to the court next Monday?

Butler: We are fine. I won't ask my teammates to become more "desperate" or more "urgent". They should continue to play and enjoy the game, and leave the pressure from the outside to me, Draymond, Steph, and the coaching staff. Others just keep doing what you are doing great now.
