According to NBA rules, the Rockets can bring up to 21 players to the official training camp, and the maximum number of official rosters after the start of the season is 15 formal contracts and 3 two-way contracts. The Rockets currently have 14 formal contract players. They are Van Jordan, Amen, Durant, Smith Jr., Sengon, Shepard, Ethan, Finney Smith, Tate, Adams, Holiday Jr., Okogie, Jeff Green, and Capela. The Rockets and Matthews signed an Exhibit 10 contract and a two-way contract with Harris, with 16 people on the roster.

The Rockets now have 18 players, adding two new two-way contracts. The Rockets first signed former Celtics star JD Davis in a two-way contract. He was born in 2002 and was 1.91 meters tall. Last season, he won the Development League MVP with his performance of 25.1 points, 5.2 rebounds and 7.4 assists. Davidson was officially laid off by the Celtics two days ago, and the Rockets took the lead in taking him off.

JD-Davidson needs a lot of ball rights, and his style is very suitable for the Vipers as the core of the ball.

After signing JD Davidson, the Rockets signed defensive champion Isaiah Crawford with an arm span of 2.18 meters.

Previously, Stone signed Okogie, and Houston media counted that the Rockets already had 10 players with an arm span of at least 2.13 meters.

Okogie, Amen, Finney Smith and Sengon have 2.13 meters in arm spans, Smith Jr. and Jeff Green are 2.16 meters in 1, Ethan is 2.18 meters in, and Durant, Adams and Capela are 2.26 meters in.

Now with Crawford, the Rockets already have 11 players with an arm span of at least 2.13 meters.

Compared to JD Davidson, Isaiah Crawford has a better chance to win Uduka's favor.

Crawford was born in 2003 and is 1.98 meters tall. He averaged 16.3 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 2.1 steals and 1.7 caps in college. He shot 41.4% from three-pointers. He was named the best player and best defensive player in the C-USA league. Last year, Crawford was finally out of the draft as an older rookie. He signed a two-way contract with the Kings and spent most of his time playing in the Development League. His development team under the Kings averaged 13.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.3 caps per game, shooting percentage of 50.2% and 3-point shooting percentage of 44.2%.

Crawford's height actually has no obvious advantage on the defensive end, but his wingspan is good, his defensive skills and aggressiveness can pull three points to open up space. A player like him is exactly what Uduka likes. Coach Wu wants to fill the Rockets' defense, and Stone also stockpiled up defensive players for him.

The Kings considered staying with Isaiah Crawford and offered him a qualification offer on a two-way contract, who became a restricted free agent. But in mid-July the Kings recouped the offer, Crawford became a full free agent, and the Rockets took him down.

Some Rockets fans are optimistic about Capela Dante Jr. was given up.

Rockets previously quoted Enfalee Dante with two-way contract qualifications, making him a restricted free agent. Dante is 23 years old and has a wingspan of 2.29 meters. He plays for the Rockets in 4 games. He averages 6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 0.5 assists and 1.3 caps per game, with a shooting percentage of 76% and a free throw percentage of 80%. Dante's characteristics are more like Capela, good at eating cakes, able to grab rebounds and protect the rims. He represented the Rockets in this summer league and was on standby early due to injury.

According to NBA reporter Rob Murrows, the Rockets have withdrawn their offer for Dante, and he has become a complete free agent and can sign contracts with other teams.
