Interesting, Curry said that the Warriors are exhausting their energy when playing the Rockets, but the rhythm is very good, Gobert agrees

Stephen Curry and Rudy Gobert mocked the Warriors' "exhausted" narrative. The Warriors just finished their tough NBA playoff series with the Rockets, but they were in good shape before they played against the Timberwolves.

Even after winning the NBA Playoff Game 7 with an impressive attitude away, the Golden State Warriors didn't have time to appreciate their performance. After a brutal physical confrontation series, the Warriors will leave Toyota Center as a winner at home and will face the Minnesota Timberwolves in the second round in just 48 hours.

On the other hand, the Timberwolves had an upset defeat of LeBron James, Luca Doncic and the Los Angeles Lakers in five games in the first round, and had been on a full week off. In theory, older Warriors players may appear exhausted and sluggish with much less rest time, but players on both sides do not think so.

Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry has experienced this many times before, and according to NBC Sports Bay Area's Dalton Johnson, he is looking for a glimmer of hope for a short break.

According to Johnson, Curry said: "It feels good, we got through it. We exhausted our energy in Game 7, like you should, but it was also good to keep pace."

On the other hand, the Timberwolves were ready and they didn't take the Warriors lightly even after struggling with the Rockets. Big man Rudy Gobert knows that the most successful core players of this era have experienced such situations too many times and cannot be ignored. Chris Hein of the Minnesota Star Tribune said.

"These guys are all winners, all competitors, and a lot of people are talking about them being probably exhausted - they have to play a game almost every other day," Gobert said. "They are professional players; they have a good pace; they don't feel tired."

The extra rest time didn't do much for the three other home teams that started in the second round of the series on Sunday and Monday.

The Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics and Oklahoma City Thunder were all 0-1 behind, and despite having a rest advantage over their opponents, they had no home advantage after the game, so the Timberwolves had to focus on their first game.

The game is fascinating because the two teams have never played since the Warriors traded Jimmy Butler in February, so it's hard to know exactly how it turned out. However, in theory, this is a close showdown and should be a great series for a spot in the Western Conference Finals.
