June 18th News Recently, former NBA player Jason Richardson was interviewed by NBA reporter Brandon Robinson.

Question: "LeBron is 41 years old and in good shape. Is it possible to try to participate in the dunk contest next season?"

Jason Richardson: "Participate in the dunk contest? Impossible! Because every jump and landing will cause a burden on the body, especially for a player like LeBron - I remember this is his 22nd season. If all the games in the playoffs are included, he may have played 5-6 years more (referring to the cumulative playoff games equivalent to the additional years of the regular season). So it is difficult for a player like him to do it again. Go to the slam dunk contest and compete, but it's still amazing that he can still play in the NBA at 41 and 42 years old."

Question: "Do you think social media makes us so easy to get to great things that we start taking LeBron James for granted?"

Jason Richardson: "In a sense, I think yes. I think so because social media always gives a lot of attention and keeps playing games on TV every night. Growing up, I watched Jordan , Bird, Magic, and others later in their careers, when they competed with Isiah Thomas and Dominic Wilkins, the only time we could watch games was Saturday or Sunday. But now, there are games on TV, and we can also see players working out in the summer, seeing what they do in the summer, seeing them in the summer league... There is a lot of media input about players all year round, which really makes you take some greatness for granted. Because you keep getting, seeing and being repeatedly told how great they are, rather than really witnessing them. So these few It's almost too much attention, and that's the drawback of social media - too much information will make you feel alienated. So I think, to some extent, our feeling is, 'Okay, we're tired of hearing people say LeBron, LeBron, LeBron, LeBron! We know how great he is...'"

"But in fact, you don't really know how great he is because he's been performing for 23 years at a high level, which is incredible. It's just that there's too much information, and I think we really take it for granted."
