Rockets 6 players enter the top 40 of each position in the league: Shin Kyung center eighth, Amen SG seventh, Durant SF second

The NBA offseason has not had much news, which has led to many US media being keen on various rankings. On August 20, US media HoopsHype updated the top 26 small forwards in the 25-26 season in the league (some lists are in the top 40). So, how many Rockets have been selected into the top 40 list of each position in the league?

37-year-old Durant will return to the small forward position. He is also ranked second in the league behind LeBron James. Durant is only four players who averaged 26+6+4 per game last season, and his three-point shooting percentage is as high as 43%. His personal defense is not bad. It’s a pity that he is affected by the defensive Suns. In the new season, he comes to the top defensive team Rockets, and he will become the Rockets’ new offensive and defensive gate.

Amen Thompson was selected as the seventh shooting guard in the 25-26 season, while former Rockets SG Jaylen Green was only ranked 13th. Amen will play as the second position for the first time next season, but the outside world has high expectations for him. Not only do he think he will continue to be selected for the best first defense, but he also thinks he can be selected for the All-Star and the Best Team.

VanVleet was selected as the 17th point guard in the league. Last season, he averaged 14.1 points, 5.6 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game, with a shooting percentage of 37.8%. He is indeed not a stable scorer, but VanVleet's defense is still the top player in the league's PG. When he dropped from 41 million to 25 million in a year, his cost-effectiveness was very high.

In the league center ranking selected by TA, Alperen Shinkin ranked eighth and Adams ranked 38th. Shenkin is ahead of Jokic, Vinban Yama, Embiid, Davis, Adebayo, Towns, and Gobert. In other words, TA believes that Sa, Jaren, Turner and other people cannot compare with Shenkin.

Jabbarri Smith Jr. was selected as the 15th power forward in the league. He averaged 12.2 points, 7 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 0.44 steals, 0.72 blocks last season, with a shooting percentage of 43.8% and a three-point shooting percentage of 35.4%. He has the hope to continue to improve in the new season. (Unfortunately Ethan failed to enter the top 40)
