May 7th Today, the Warriors defeated the Timberwolves away in the series G1 99-88.

In this game, Warriors defender Curry withdrew from the game due to a strained left hamstring in the second quarter.

Sports medicine expert Dr. Nirav Pandya tweeted to analyze Curry's injury prospects:

"Warriors fans must read: a quick interpretation of Curry's hamstring strain:

"1. The first thing to understand is that the so-called 'strain' refers to the tearing of the hamstring muscle to a certain extent.

"2. The time of return depends on several factors, including the degree of strain (a minor tear in the first grade, a partial tear in the second grade, and a complete tear in the third grade), the location of the injury (a better middle muscle than near the root of the thigh), the number of hamstring muscles involved, the cross-sectional area affected, and the degree of fluid accumulation/swelling.

"3. We conducted a five-year study of NBA players suffering from such injuries, and the results showed an average of about 6 games absent. This does not mean that Curry cannot come back faster, but the specific time still needs to be determined based on the above factors. ”
