According to The Athletic reporter Dan Woike, the Los Angeles Lakers have signed Jarron Cumberland, a backcourt player who was previously in free agency. In order to make room for Cumberland's signing, the Lakers have cut off Arther Kaluma, a striker who previously held a training camp contract with Exhibit 10.

Cumberland was born in September 1997. She just turned 28 years old, 196cm tall and weighed 93kg. She was the undraft in the 2020 NBA Draft. Cumberland played for the Portland Trail Blazers briefly in the NBA. He has made 3 appearances in the NBA regular season, averaging 4.1 minutes per game, averaging 0.7 points, 1 rebound, 0.3 assists, and 0.7 fouls, shooting percentage of 50% and 0% three-point shooting percentage. In the previous few seasons, Cumberland spent most of his time in the NBA Development League, and during this period he also played odd jobs in the Mexican and Canadian leagues.
