David social media announced his departure: I spent five wonderful years in Lille, it s time to say goodbye

May 15th Jonathan David posted a video on his personal social media and said goodbye to Lille.

David said in the video: "I want to announce to you personally that after playing for many years at the club, it is time to say goodbye. I have spent five wonderful seasons here. Although it has not been smooth sailing, I hope that through my goals and celebrations, especially the glorious moments of the French Super Cup, I can bring joy to Lille fans. I know that my start is not going well, but you always support me and give strength in difficult times. This friendship will be remembered forever."

This season, David played 48 times for Lille, contributing 25 goals and 12 assists. David played 231 times for Lille in his career, scoring 109 goals, ranking third in the club's historical scorer list.
