DO: New Moon and Liverpool have negotiated 53 million euros + additional, Nunes has expressed his willingness to join

Hupu August 6th, TheAthleticUK ace reporter David Ornstein, the latest report, Riyadh Crescent has reached a principled agreement on signing striker Darwin Nunes from Liverpool.

The two sides verbally reached an agreement worth 53 million euros (plus additional terms) and the 26-year-old said he was willing to accept the transfer.

There are still some steps to be completed before the transfer is completed, so the two clubs have not released any confirmation information yet.

However, Liverpool allowed Nunez to negotiate with Riyadh Crescent, and if the negotiations went well, the Uruguay international would have the opportunity to join the Saudi professional league team's training camp in Germany.

According to TheAthletic on Sunday, Riyadh Crescent has made Nunez the top target and is stepping up efforts to sign him.

AC Milan also showed interest in signing Nunes, although it was thought that the Serie A club would be unlikely to offer a quote that matches the Riyadh Crescent.

In January, Liverpool rejected a offer of about €70 million from Saudi Arabian side Riyadh victory and had no intention of selling the striker midway through the season as they competed for important honors in the second half of the season.

Nuñez transferred from Benfica to Liverpool in 2022, and the transfer fee was as high as 100 million euros (£85 million) after additional terms.

In his three seasons at Anfield, he scored 40 goals for the club, but in the 2024-25 season when the team won the championship, he only started eight Premier League games.
