Maguire: Manchester United performs better in the Europa League final; people will keep mocking me for traffic

How do you feel? How important is a harmonious atmosphere to your team?

Yes, very important. I think team spirit is very important. It's really great to have someone like you on the team. I think people may feel like we are not working hard. We didn't, we didn't work hard. We didn't do enough, but we did.

Guys, I've witnessed it all. We want to succeed, and we are doing everything we can. Sometimes we know we haven’t done well enough lately, well, we haven’t brought much to the fans.

I mean, obviously we have won trophys over the past few years. We could have won more. I've lost two Europa League finals. I've reached the Europa League final twice now, one was a penalty shootout and the last was against Tottenham, and if we... how to say it, to be honest, we are actually better-performing teams.

Well, but for that matter, things may be different. But yes, the guys are working hard and the atmosphere is great. I think it's almost a whole new beginning, and hopefully it's a good start, well, this is the goal we can continue to work on this basis and get the club back to when you're still playing football.

How did you deal with public doubts? What advice do you have for young players?

Because I think it's very important for people like you. Yes, first of all, I have a great team around me. Well, I have a good family. Well, I have a very close relationship with my friends.

I have always maintained the same friendship with those close friends in the school. Well, it’s really important to have good support and family support. But obviously some players come from different countries,

do not have these. So, the most important thing I have always said is that you can only do what you should do.

You can do it, well, on the football field, you will be judged, and when you play for this club, everything will be analyzed. Every goal is lost is someone's fault. Um. A goal is always blamed on someone, even if it could be just a nice goal, or a pretty good goal, I think you'll get used to it.

But for a young man, when you were a child, you were fearless. Then once you make a few mistakes, after a few seasons, people start to expect from you, and then the real test comes.

I see a lot of Manchester United players making breakthroughs in a year or two, but after the second year, they are starting to be questioned and their form has declined. I think this happens often. I don't think that will happen to the first few years of young players entering the first team.

I want to know, what do you think of social media?

I had a terrible time for six months, everything I did was online, including my videos, misplaced passes, and I thought I was at a stage where anything about me posted was more or less for clicks.

I can accept constructive criticism from players or former players, but I think it's time to just clicks, followers and so on.

Personally, the most difficult moment was probably when I was booed against Scotland away for England. When they first came on stage, they might have thought it was just a joke, but then the situation developed to a certain stage and I think people realized that it was beyond the scope of jokes.

At that moment, I received a lot of support and people also reached out to me. I'm very grateful for this.
