Hupu August 12th, the latest report by famous reporter John Percy of the Daily Telegraph, Newcastle United is considering activating the termination clause of Leicester City midfielder Bilal El Hanus this week.
The Moroccan international is becoming a key target for Newcastle United coach Eddie Howe and the team to bring in offensive players, and he may be introduced to return to the Premier League.
El Hanus transferred from Belgian club Henk for a transfer fee of about £19.5 million in August last year. After Leicester City was relegated to the Championship, his termination clause will be activated.
It is understood that El Hanus's termination fee is more than £30 million and will expire later this week, so Newcastle United are stepping up his attention.
Leeds United also showed interest in the attacking midfielder, who played 90 minutes on Sunday's Leicester City win over Sheffield Wednesday. He also contributed two assists to goals from Yannick Westgow and Water Fass.
Newcastle is eager to bring in players with comprehensive offensive capabilities and hopes to qualify for the Champions League this season.
El Hanus is one of the few players in Leicester City's 2024-25 Premier League season, and he is considered to have great potential for improvement.
Since relegation to the Championship, Leicester City has sold goalkeeper Maz Hermanson, midfielder Wilfred Ndidy and defender Connor Cody.
