Apparently, Sane's decision surprised Bayern Munich's top leaders. Just hours ago, Eber said on Sky TV that they were having a "productive discussion". The sports director explained: "There is no signature yet. We are willing to do so, and Leroy is willing."

Now, the contract renewal is questioned again. Zahavi is considered a tough negotiator who either fights for big money for clients or finds a new club right away.
