Miller said: "Brother, it's chocolate to me, and candy. Let me tell you a story. When I was playing in Portland, my woman and I went to a chocolate conference, and that was the day before the game. You know, the scene was huge, so the chocolate there was unlimited supply, brother. The day before the game, I was there, eating all kinds of chocolates, different booths, etc. I forgot who we were going to play the next day, but I could feel something was wrong. I just overdose of chocolate, the game started, man, after I ran back and forth on the court for the first time, I really ran out of the court, I had to go to the emergency room. They gave me medicine to sleep. They gave me morphine, they gave me sleep for about two days. I took too much chocolate… Everything about food poisoning came!”

Miller mentioned the game was the home game against the Indiana Pacers on January 22, 2011, and the Trail Blazers won 97-92. In that victory, Miller only played for 2 minutes and 42 seconds, getting 1 assist and 1 turnover. Reports at the time said Miller had stomach upset.
