June 9th, Botafogo officially announced that Benfica 27-year-old winger Cabral joined the team.
Botafogo social media posted an official announcement video, confirming that 27-year-old Brazilian winger Cabral was signed from Benfica. The two sides signed the contract until the end of 2028. Cabral will wear the No. 98 jersey and participate in the Club World Cup with the team.
Cabral has played for Palmeiras, Basel, Fiorentina, and Benfica. This season, he played 7 goals and 2 assists for Benfica.
Botafogo is in the B-CFC Club Cup with Atletico Madrid, Paris and Seattle Bayers.
