Official: Nottingham Forest rents first and then buys Juventus midfielder Douglas Louis

On August 22, Nottingham Forest Club of the Premier League officially announced that it would first rent and then buy and sign Serie A Juventus midfielder Douglas Luis. The rental fee is 3 million euros, and the buyout fee is 25 million euros in solid amount (in 4 periods) + 3.5 million euros in floating.

Brazil midfielder will join Forest on loan for one season first, with a conditional mandatory buyout clause next summer.

Douglas Luis signed with Manchester City in 2017 and was immediately loaned to Girona for two years. He transferred to Aston Villa in 2019, making more than 200 appearances for Villa. He transferred to Juventus last season and played 27 games for Juventus, but only started 6 games. After signing the contract, Douglas Louis said excitedly: "I am really happy to be here. Forest is a great club. The reason I chose to join is because I saw the ambition of the club. I am looking forward to starting a new season with the team and going all out to fight with the fans for this jersey."
