Romano reported on May 27 that Szczesni will renew his contract with Barcelona, and the player is a member of Barcelona's lineup next season.
Romano pointed out that Szczesni is about to sign a new contract with Barcelona, and that has been part of the club's plan since March.
Although formal procedures are still required, Barcelona still firmly believes that Szczesny is part of the team's goalkeeper roster next season.
